For some reason last night the tension reached a fever pitch, and it hit my boiling point. What is it exactly that has got me hammering on my keyboard to blow off some steam? Release some of the pressure? Here it is….
Never settle.
Although she couldn’t point to anything in particular to justify her unhappiness, she felt empty – as if her life was void of something. Something more. Yet the source of this feeling was unknown and invisible.
Letting go……
Through my journey of learning and dare I also say ‘self discovery’, I have adopted a new mantra, “Let it go”.
A new word for ‘Normal’.
One phrase I’ve heard time and again is, ‘our new normal.’ But what is ‘normal’ really?
It’s okay to show your vulnerability. It’s a powerful uniting force.
Each of us has our own fears and doubts. Often disguised as that little voice that holds us back from speaking up. It’s the invisible grip that stops us from diving in, jumping off, standing up, and moving forward. In my experience, whenever I have shown some vulnerability, I am lifted by others. After I move through my moment of vulnerability, I feel lighter.
The Power of Empathy. Something I learned from being my own customer.
Not that long ago, I was given an unexpected opportunity (and gift) to live the experience of my customer. To fully immerse myself into what a typical experience for them might be, and ultimately feel like. I learned so much. I gained so much perspective, and on a much deeper level than I could have otherwise.
